I was in Alaska with my mom in 2007 for a very memorable trip. We were walking around Ketchikan taking in the sights after a float plane ride. The town isn’t all that exciting, but the landscape surrounding it sure is beautiful. I spotted these boots resting on a fishing boat and thought they were neat. Don’t know if the owner uses either the boat or the boots anymore for what they were intended, but I enjoyed how they were being used at the time. By the way, I didn’t have my DSLR then, I was using a digital point-and-shoot Konica Minolta. Dear Hubby offered to by me a new camera for the trip, but I didn’t want to be greedy seeing as how he already sent me on a cruise with Mom. I got some great shots with my Konica, but boy was I kicking myself when we got there!
