Got up around 4:30 am and went outside to see if I might see any meteors shooting across the sky. My son decided to join me outside and we saw about six of them before the clouds rolled over our view. He captured one and so did I! We were outside for about 45 minutes or so. The light changed as dawn came upon us so there is more magenta in the bottom photo.
Get up somewhere between midnight and dawn. One more day left for the shower’s peak!

If it’s dark where you are then yes! August 13 is the last of the shower’s peak. Get outside and look up to toward the northeast and east. Good luck!
