This is an image I captured of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church while visiting El Paso, TX last year. I believe the church was established in 1930’s. Being from El Paso, I think this is actually the first time I had ever attended this particular parish for a service. The outside architecture is really lovely and the bell tower caught my attention almost immediately upon arrival. It was early afternoon when I took this photograph. I enjoy making starbursts with the sun and a little sun flare at times, and I think the telephone lines draw your eye toward the top of the tower. Processing this image in black and white also added more interest to me as well, but I couldn’t decide which image to share. Do you prefer one over the other?

Hope you enjoy it. Have a great weekend!
