Family pets can definitely be included in portraits! You love your fur babies, so why not bring them along on your next session? Better yet, make the session all about them and the bond you share. Roger came to me to create some lasting keepsakes of himself with his beautiful German Shepherd, Koda. We rose early to be at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in hopes of having a sweet sunrise. Roger happens to be a terrific Boy Scout troop leader helping many high school boys earn their Eagle ranking over the years, including my own! We endured the cold morning as we chose a good spot for sunrise, chatting about camping, his grandchildren, and his beloved family pets, including Koda. While it was a little tricky getting Koda’s attention because he was more interested in walking around the park, I think we captured some truly special moments of the two of them to create some very special keepsakes.
