A Senior Session with Pockets of Color and Urban Art

Being a visual arts student at Booker T. Washington, Edie’s “backyard” is the Dallas Arts District, so there was no better place for her senior session. We had a total blast treating the area in and around the museums like our own private playground for the morning. It turned into a fun little urban adventure, staying one step ahead of the rain and getting that perfect museum shot for her portrait keepsakes.

Edie is a true powerhouse—not only a gifted artist but a National Merit Scholar and a champion equestrian, too. I enjoyed chatting with her and her mom while we explored the streets near the school. After delivering their handcrafted album and signature senior folio, I was super happy to hear back from her mom that they love how beautiful everything turned out. It’s the perfect way to keep these memories from such a fun morning!
